With 20 years of success in the financial services industry behind him, Leander founded Beyond Wealth in 2010 with the goal of helping clients maximise the assets they’ve worked so hard to realize. He offers clients a wealth of experience and business acumen that have seen him deliver results at all stages of his career.
After graduating and being invited to join London Life as a financial advisor, Leander was ranked among the world’s top 1000 advisors in just his first year. From there, he took on increasingly progressive roles and was eventually named Senior Vice President at Great-West Life.
Despite the achievements in his corporate career, Leander’s primary interest has always resided in helping business owners and their families. It was this that led him to turn down numerous high-profile offers and create Beyond Wealth. Leander’s mix of entrepreneurial sensibility and financial experience has helped position Beyond Wealth as a leader in the industry, offering unprecedented expertise to business owners, professionals and transitioning businesses.

Lance has had an interest in wealth management for many years, particularly in the areas of investment behavior, equity markets, and small business. Prior to joining Beyond Wealth full time, Lance earned his Economics degree from the University of Calgary, with an additional focus in Business Management.
Today, Lance has a passion for managing and expanding Beyond Wealth’s practice, servicing clients across western Canada, while also heavily contributing to our high-net-worth strategy development and analysis.

Abe began his career in financial services over 40 years ago as a financial advisor. He was soon working for Great-West Life as Agency Manager at one of their busiest financial centres and went on to become the Regional Director of Great-West’s South Saskatchewan Resource Centre. In 1999, he followed his entrepreneurial inclinations and started his own firm, StoneCreek.
At Beyond Wealth, Abe is heavily involved in our Business Transition practice, helping business owners plan for the succession of their business and their exit from it. The hard work he dedicates to his business ventures is also apparent in his extensive community involvement. Whether serving on the board, acting as president, or lending his expertise, Abe has left an indelible mark upon many community organisations and the financial services industry in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Connie began her career in a bank before joining our Financial Advisor, John, and his support team at Great-West Life 25 years ago. As Beyond Wealth’s Managing Director, Connie leads the team and plays a critical role in ensuring the business operates with a exceptional level of professionalism and client service.
Connie has her Certified Health Specialist (CHS) designation, has completed all 12 courses of the CFP program by Advocis, is licensed in Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance, Segregate Funds and has her LOMA designation. She’s currently working on her Certified Life Underwriter (CLU). Clearly a person who is committed to her own personal growth, she is equally committed to each of our clients.

Sierra Ackerman brings over seven years of experience with Beyond Wealth Management, during which she has been mentored by the firm’s senior advisors, gaining invaluable insights and expertise. Complemented by five years specializing in investment services, she plays a key role in supporting advisors with the development of customized financial plans and the management of investment transactions. Sierra is committed to collaborating closely with advisors to deliver personalized, client-focused strategies that empower clients to achieve their financial goals with confidence.
She holds certification in the Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) and is currently undertaking the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP). Sierra graduated from the University of Regina’s Paul J. Hill School of Business in 2021 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Human Resource Management.

Lorne is a CFP and CLU designated Chartered Financial Consultant with diverse experience in the financial services world extending back to the 1980’s. Prior to joining Beyond Wealth, Lorne was recognized as one of the leading insurance and investment specialists in the country.
Lorne has also been a Branch Manager at both Royal Trust and Imperial Financial Services, in addition to holding other management roles. At Beyond Wealth, Lorne’s primary focus is working with high net worth clients to implement asset accumulation, wealth preservation, estate planning and tax minimisation strategies. A people person with an avid interest in the technical side of investment, Lorne is a rarity.
